This is the main social event of the year – we take over Dalmeny Park and have a giant picnic together. At our 2009 party we were entertained by a fire-breathing juggler, we sang and the children made animal masks and played some sporty games. Several hundred member families usually come along – for those who do not attend our
twice-weekly teas, it is a great opportunity to meet other local families and celebrate
our community.

Christmas party
Father Christmas never misses our annual Christmas party. We enjoy some festive fun, face painting and singing in a local community centre. Members bring contributions for a shared tea and drinks and entertainment are provided.
Nearly new sales
Have a spring-clean and sell your unwanted baby/children's stuff or snap up some bargains. NCT-type table top sales are organised regularly. Members may book a table for a small fee and you keep the proceeds from your table.
Special member-only events
We have offered a variety of other one-off special events in the past including an afternoon's exclusive hire of a local soft play centre, a swimming party and an evening of wine tasting.
